More Parking spaces in Purley

Ever since the 2010 Purley Realm improvement project that delivered more trees, electric charge points, cycle facilities some public art in the form of a mosaic outside Astoria court, there has also been a reduction in the number of parking spaces available. This reduced the number of spaces from 42 to 38. 

Working with Chris Philp MP, local business owners such as Mr P Coughlan the BID managed to engage with the council and bring the appropriate members down to Purley High Street to identify new parking spaces. 5 new parking spaces were identified and these have now been placed on the high street.
