Purley in Bloom
Purley in Bloom was delighted to attend the London in Bloom Awards Ceremony 2022 at The Arts Pavilion in Mile End on Wednesday, 21st September 2022.
Each In Bloom team is scored against a set of criteria under 3 main pillars:
- Horticultural Achievement
- Environmental Responsibility
- Community Participation
During the first year of Purley in Bloom, the team has worked extremely hard and has been awarded a Silver Gilt Award, as well as an It’s Your Neighbourhood, Level 4 ‘Thriving’ Award for the Friends of Rotary Field. This is a fantastic achievement and a great endorsement of the changes and improvements that are visible in Purley.
Huge thanks for the support and encouragement we have received from the businesses and residents of Purley.

It is a very friendly, welcoming group of like-minded people who want to improve the environment in Purley, meet new people and have fun, whether you have gardening experience or are looking to learn more. We are aiming for a Gold Award next year!
