Churches Together in Purley will be switching on the Purley Christmas lights at the United Reformed Church, next to Purley Hospital, on Saturday 30th November 2019. Children’s activities, school choirs, Salvation Army Band, refreshments and treasure hunt with prizes will start at 3.45pm onwards, with the switch on at 5pm.

Even more trees have been illuminated this year as the Winter Lights were switched on when the clocks turned back on Sunday 27th October 2019. The Winter Lights will be sparkling until the Spring, when the clocks go forward on Sunday 29th March 2020.
The Purley BID Litter Pick was a great success, despite the wet weather. A group of keen litter pickers set about making Purley Cleaner & Greener.
