Croydon, including Purley and surrounding areas has been placed under Flood Alert due to one of the wettest Februarys ever recorded. The Government website says that properties with deep basements and low lying land in and around Purley and the Caterham Bourne may experience flooding. Thank you to Clearwater Ponds & Landscaping for a fantastic job of servicing and cleaning the Purley Fountain for us. It’s amazing how much it’s missed when it’s not working! The Fountain looks lovely in the Library Garden which is beautifully maintained by volunteers. The Fountain was restored by Purley BID in 2021 .
