We are delighted to report that the Purley Fountain has been emptied, cleaned and given a full service. The Fountain is a fantastic landmark in Purley and we are proud to have restored it to its former glory.

The poppies that Purley BID place on the lamp columns around the town each year have had a makeover. They have been freshly sprayed and are looking resplendent in the run up to Armistice Day on 11th November, offering an opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic struck, the Purley BID team has been supporting our businesses with the supply of PPE to ensure that our shops and services are as safe as possible. We’ve worked closely with Croydon Council to gain EU funding to supply and install 8 x hand sanitiser stations at strategic points around the
