Great to be at the Croydon Neighbourhood Grant (South West) meeting this week in Purley, where we heard from four excellent charities bidding for grants from Croydon Council.
The South East Cancer Help Centre and the Purley & Coulsdon Clubs for the Elderly (PACE) were both successful in their bids for £10,000 worth of funding, following voting by residents who were in attendance at the meeting.
Congratulations to them and Revolving Doors and The Story Sanctuary who were also successful.
These organisations rely on grants and fundraising to be able to continue to provide their invaluable services to residents in Purley and surrounding areas. We are very fortunate to have the amazing volunteers that keep these amazing groups running.
