Purley in Bloom was delighted to attend the London in Bloom Awards Ceremony 2025 at RHS Garden Wisley, on Monday, 20th October 2025.
Each In Bloom team is scored against a set of criteria under 3 main pillars:
- Horticultural Achievement
- Environmental Responsibility
- Community Participation
We are extremely proud to announce that Purley in Bloom has been awarded a GOLD Award, as well as It’s Your Neighbourhood, Level 4 ‘Thriving’ Awards for the Friends of Rotary Field and Friends of Purley Cross. This is a fantastic achievement and a great endorsement of the continued improvements that are visible in Purley.
Huge thanks for the support and encouragement we have received from the businesses and residents of Purley. Thanks also to the fantastic Parks Team at London Borough of Croydon and to TFL for their collaboration with Purley in Bloom projects.
Purley in Bloom was honoured to be invited to the prestigious Britain in Bloom competition.
What an amazing achievement for Purley in Bloom, as first time entrants, to be awarded SILVER. We are extremely proud of the team and so pleased that all their hard work has been recognised. The Awards were featured on BBC1’s The One Show and we send our congratulations to Southport on being overall national winners.
