Congratulations to Coughlan’s Bakery
Coughlan’s Bakery was established in 1937 by Jack Coughlan and was really driven forward by his son, Peter Coughlan, who took over the business in the 1950s. Virginia and Sean Coughlan are now running the third generation, family business and are very proud of their heritage.
Coughlan’s has evolved with a huge vegan range and is pleased to be celebrating Veganuary. It has just launched a new vegan steak & mushroom slice, which is the first of its kind and has already become their bestselling vegan product. As Purley BID is promoting Try January, why not try out a vegan product from Coughlan’s this month?
Coughlan’s strives daily to bring the freshest, handmade artisan products to their bakeries, using local suppliers, many of whom they have worked with for decades, to ensure quality and consistency.
Coughlan’s has opened several new branches in surrounding areas but the Purley shop is at 29 High Street, CR8 2AF, 0208 645 0429. Open Monday-Saturday from 7.30am-5.30pm and Sunday 10am-3pm.
