Purley Joins Safe Zone Initiative

Due to several attempted abductions in surrounding areas, the businesses in Purley wanted to come together to provide a safe zone for any young person who might need assistance.

Purley BID is delighted to have arranged for the businesses to join the Safe Zone Initiative. Safezones UK is a charity that can provide first aid training, youth engagement training and posters/stickers for shop windows to show anyone in need that they can go into that premises to ask for help.

This is an fantastic initiative and it is wonderful that our Purley businesses want to offer this to our community. Please let our young people know that where there is a Safe Zone Initiative sticker or poster in the window they can ask for help.
