Business of the Month – The Jolly Farmers Pub
About The Jolly Farmers Pub
The Jolly Farmers Pub, or The Jollys to its regulars, has been at 7 Purley Road, Purley, CR8 2HA since 1907! The current owners, Manish and Trushna, took over six years ago. The Jolly Farmers has a Bourne Society blue plaque (unveiled in 2007 to commemorate its centenary) showing the history of the building, dating back to 1907, which replaced an earlier wooden beer house built at least 40 years before.
Landlord, Manish, said: “We have missed our regulars during the last difficult year. It’s great to be able to welcome everyone back for outdoor seating. We can’t wait till the 17th May when we can open our doors to friends old and new and get back to providing live music and fun times.”
