Purley BID hosted a Dementia Friends Training Session at 10.00 am on Wednesday 19th February 2020. Purley businesses were invited to send staff who would benefit from the training.
Marion Abbott from Croydon Council, who is a Dementia Champion, gave an insight into what life is like for someone living with dementia and how banks, shops, cafes, restaurants etc can help make everyday situations less confusing and help customers feel at ease. The session was informative and very helpful.
