The Purley BID Litter Pick was a great success, despite the wet weather. A group of keen litter pickers set about making Purley Cleaner & Greener. Over a two hour period many bags of litter were collected. The rubbish was removed by Croydon Council, who also provided all of the equipment for the event.
Purley Rotary members supported Purley BID, as always, and did a sterling job around Purley Railway Station. The event proved very popular and another date will be organised soon to continue the good work.
