Congratulations to Mind in Croydon
Mind in Croydon is a mental health charity that was founded in 1967 and has since then developed into a significant provider of mental health in Croydon and Purley. Mind in Croydon is working to promote good mental health and seeks to empower people to lead a full life as part of their local community. To achieve these aims, Mind in Croydon: educates and provides services; campaigns and raises funds; works in partnership with other relevant organisations; values diversity and focuses on quality and involves service users and other volunteers in its work.
Mind in Croydon will be involved in World Mental Health Day on the 10th October 2019, where the focus this year is on suicide prevention and is holding an event at the newly opened Fairfield Halls. Join them to explore the 5 ways to wellbeing from 12pm to 5pm when there will be a huge range of community activities, information stalls, pop-up shop, performances and guests appearances including The Mayor of Croydon and in the evening for an 18+ variety comedy show to raise funds and awareness. You can purchase tickets for the price of £10 per ticket at https://www.fairfield.co.uk/wh…/mental-health-is-not-a-joke/
We are delighted to support Mind in Croydon, who are based in the Purley BID area on Pampisford Road. Purley BID’s year round “Live Well” campaign is a direct result of Mind in Croydon’s work to promote positive mental health.
