‘Take Notice of Purley’

As a part of Purley Business Improvement District ‘Live Well’ campaign every two months we have a theme to support local businesses and community.

January and February is all about ‘Being Active’!

March and April is about ‘Taking Notice of Purley’, great town we live in!

Reminding yourself to ‘take notice’ can strengthen and broaden awareness.  According to Mind, ‘studies have shown that being aware of what is taking place in the present directly enhances your well-being and heightened awareness also enhances your self-understanding and allows you to make positive choices based on your own values and motivations’ .

Here are a few ideas:

• Get a plant for your workspace
• Have a ‘clear the clutter’ day
• Take notice of how your colleagues are feeling or acting
• Take a different route on your journey to or from work
• Visit a new place for lunch.

Purley Business Improvement District team is inviting you to enter a photo competition and take notice of great things happening in our town.

The competition is open to everyone who is passionate about Purley and would like to share the best of the town using photography and art.

There are 3 age categories anyone can enter:

• Category 1: age 10 and under
• Category 2: age 11-16;
• Category 3: 16 and over.
